Don’t wait to fill out your FAFSA (Free Application for Student Aid). It could cost you. Undergraduate Missouri students who file next year’s FAFSA by April 1 are now eligible for up to $4,600 of recently-released government aid. All students who submit their FAFSA by April 1 receive priority consideration for all available grants and loans. So what are you waiting for? After all, every MBU student is required to annually complete the FAFSA. But after the money is gone, you’re out of luck. So, resist your urge to procrastinate and turn in your FAFSA before April. It may make a substantive difference in your pocketbook. Step One - pin.ed.gov
Step Two - fafsa.ed.gov
The FAFSA becomes available January 1 of each year. Priority deadline for Missouri: April 1. |
